March 21, 2007

I haven't written in this thing in quite some time. It has been so long that I feel kinda bad about writing now. Why now? I really don't know. Sometimes I come up with things that i believe would be blog worthy, but I never actually write them down.

I have little news to report. I didn't end up moving out, I will be staying put for another year. They finally caught what was infesting my old room in Franklin. Apparently there were 5 flying squirrels living in the walls and little crawl spaces in my room. That would explain why those mice i saw in my closet were so damn scary looking. I'm still having steady tyrannical fantasies where I am the supreme ruler of an ancient civilization, around the year 200 b.c. I triumph over everything and squash my enemies with the hammer that is my pure will. I also often fantasize about ice cream and other sweet, delectable, icy cold treats that are most often enjoyed in the summer time. Well thats all for now, continue to feel groovy.

February 26

Alright, so I've never actually been bored enough to cut myself, but still Franklin is a sleepy ass town. I feel like Boston has been sleepy too lately. I think it must just be the Winter. Winter is that time between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox where life is put on hold and an arctic chill passes over, freezing the very capillaries in our blood. I truly do appreciate those random winter days where the temperature decreases just enough to turn my neighborhood into ice age II: the melt down. Even when it doesn't snow that much, as this Winter has been so far, it's still fucking cold. Winter is a time when people make plans months in advance. This is my favorite part of the annual routine. Every winter marks a new year, a new beginning, and while we are all waiting for the first sign of spring let us take a moment to reflect. Let us all realize that there are people who have never experienced a harsh new england winter, let alone 17 harsh New England winters. Exactly how much perspective does somebody lose not having ever experienced blizzards, ice storms, and other various sub zero phenomenon. The fact of the matter is we are all better people for the cold. And I don't know about you, but i never take summer for granted.

Bored in Franklin

So Walker is out. I realized that me just sitting on my couch looking through Craig's list for 20 minutes was a much more effective strategy in finding a place. Me and Ross looked at a place by the Fens today, it's a very nice area but the place itself was bullshit. Basement unit, slanty floors, it was like a house of fucking mirrors. Also, there was an abundance of huge flies, which i found disturbing. I mean a group of 4 or 5 flies just chilling together on the ceiling, huge fuckers too. All in all not the best place live but at least we actually saw it.
Oh yeah and some random advice, don't come to Franklin on a saturday night, I feel like cutting myself for fun i am so bored.
The Glue needs to go to Bonnaroo, I am talking about max, john and ross.

The First

This is my first post, I am popping the cherry of this thing and it feels great! I just wanted to share that I have a new realtor now, and it is Andrew Walker. Today he came to show us a place that is available over in Mission Main, so we get to this run down looking place and this old Mexican guy answers the door looking very confused. Walker first confirms that he has the right address, which he does. The guy still looked very confused, and when Walker asked if Christine was there, the guy said no. Then our realtor says "OK" and scurried away from the door leaving behind a very perplexed old man in his underwear. Walker still hasn't showed us any places but we are sticking with him, If only to make life that more ridiculous.
